John Stetson is the Founder and Managing Member of Sunset Bay Capital, LLC, a private equity firm based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.For over 10 years, Mr. Stetson has helped build companies across all industries. He invests and works with the founders and innovators through all stages of growth including IPO’s and Mergers & Acquisitions. Since May 2020, Stetson has served as Chief Executive Officer of Stoner's Pizza Joint, where he owns 8 units in the FL, GA, and SC markets. Recently, Mr. Stetson led the acquisition and formation of PolarityTE, Inc. (Ticker: PTE) where he served as CFO, Director, and EVP from December 2016 to June 2018, achieving a market cap of $800 million. Prior to PolarityTE, Mr. Stetson served as CFO, Director, and EVP of Marathon Patent Group, Inc., a Nasdaq company, from June 2012 to February 2015. As a public company executive, Mr. Stetson has been responsible for raising over $250 million in financing. Mr. Stetson received his BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
